I had a signature, but someone got jealous and stole it. So all I have now is this.

Lu Bu did work for Liu Bei for a time, which may have meant that he worked with Zhuge Liang, but I don't think so. I'll see if I can look up who his primary advisor was. One of Lu Bu's advisors, whom Cao Cao adored, went to the executioner with Lu Bu out of loyalty once Lu Bu was captured.
I forget which DW it is, but something my wife loves is when Lu Bu shows up to guard Hu Lao gate and one of the soldiers says, "It's Lu Bu! He's come to kill us all!". She gets a real kick out of it.
If you enjoy DW, try the Empire series for some couples time. My wife and I just got done invading China together in the Yellow Turban Rebellion in DW5 Empires, and it was hella fun. Lost of tactics, strategy and policy. It mixes the Romance of the Three Kingdoms kinds of games with the DW engine. As described by the clerk who sold it to me, it's like Risk and Dynasty Warriors.

I still like swords.
I don't know much of the history behind all the characters and whatnot, though its great how it was all real.
I loved playing all the different armies too... Wei, Shu, Lu Bu, Cao Cao, etc. ... I think Cao Cao's and Lu Bu's were the most fun.
And thank you for the game suggestion! I'll have to try it out. What system is it for? Is it from the company associated with DW... Koei?

Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires is made by Koei. It is a Dynasty Warriors game. It uses the same combat system, but you get to select which officers enter an area for battle, and other such things. Sorry for the confusion!
You should read Sanguo Yanyi. I'll see if I can find the link I've got to a free online translation for you.

I kinda wanna play DW6 for the PS3... it looked pretty kickass, not to mention pretty high-tech.
Hmm, is that an anime of some sort?

I remember the first time that me and my friend got to the... Battle of Hu Lao gate? It was us two, plus sixteen bodyguards. We just got the game so our characters have like NO life, and my friend charged in with as much enthusiasm as Lu Bu in the game had when he came out screaming he was going to kill everyone.
Anyway, awesome stamp! XD

Sanguo Yanyi is the original novel that tells the tale of the Three Kingdoms. It translates as "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", like the games. The novel, in turn is based on Sanguo Zhi, "Record of the Three Kingdoms", which is the historical record of the time. The Sanguo Yanyi heavily favors Shu, which is why you may notice that Liu Bei is usually painted as a hero of the people.
Still looking for that site...

Red Hare's the best! Have you ever ran Lu Bu over with it? XD
And no problem!
